Saddling a horse can be an easy process, once learned. Doing things right helps to ensure greater comfort for the horse and rider and more importantly, safety while driving. The acquisition of good quality harness in local tack shop will help in this process. Here are six easy steps keep in saddle his horse.

1. Prepare your horse to receive the chair.

Start by tying your horse securely to a pole, the ring position or trailer. Using a quick release knot or a metal ring can help draw in the event your horse is frightened or feels the need to withdraw. Then use of horse supplies of good quality, like toilet brushes, curry combs and beaks clean hull and remove all dirt, mud, wood chips and horse shelter feet. Pay special attention to cleaning your horse back and belly. This will ensure that the saddle and straps will not cause irritation when placed on the horse.

2. Inspect your chair and platform saddle.

Make sure your chair and chair cushion is clean and in good working order. Remove dirt or debris fill (or wool) under the chair. Also cleaning your chair or blanket platform will provide greater comfort to your horse and helps prevent sores or bruises on the saddle. Inspect your seat for any part is missing (as Conchos, stirrups, belt chains, rings metal, screws, etc.)

3. Place the cushion on the saddle horse.

Place your platform chair or a blanket on the horse's back. I like to put forward slightly and the horse's withers to start and then side is a little back to where it seems to be focused. Make sure the horse hair or hair will not wilt or became entangled under the pillow.

4. Place the chair on the platform saddle and the horse.

Position itself with the chair is held by two hands on each side of his horse. I like my saddle horses on either side of them. Another way to check the correct placement of saddle is making sure you have a hand of the width of the distance between the elbow of the horse and the front cinch. Positioning the front cinch too close or next to your elbow, may crush or excessive pressure of the saddle on his shoulders.

5. Ensure your saddle on the horse.

When I'm not using saddles, I like tie straps, Latigo, breast and neck at the top of my saddles. Usually leaves tied at the top of my mount, even when I go up and put my saddle in the horse. After placement of a chair, then I untie these issues and let them hang from the chair. I always start by ensuring the front cinch. Extreme Exercise caution when reaching underneath his horse to grab any webbing (front or back) from the front or left side of the horse. I recommend standing beside her foreleg left, front to back and then using his left arm to get on the horse. This allows you to watch your back leg if you decide to kick or jump. Use a "T" Cross knot or using the language of the front cinch buckle to block the breeze. If you are using a back cinch, make sure the front and straps again are connected to a strap connection. I like to leave about an inch of space between the back and belly cinch horses when I buckled and closed the strap back in place. Having the back cinch too loose can allow a horse to get his hind leg caught in it and have it too tight may cause him to be uncomfortable.

6. Relax your horse and make a final inspection.

I relaxed my horse, he walked around for a few minutes helps ensure a well-shaped and snugly seat. Usually the chair is rock from side to side while still standing on the floor to make sure it is safe and will remain in place when I wake up in the chair.
